Paris In Pictures

A Weekend at The Historic Banke Hotel
By Kyle Hepp

I used to think Paris wasn’t my cup of tea but when room service breakfast arrived in our stylish, modern room at the Banke Hotel, I realized this city just might be my cup of cappuccino.

Our stay started off right when we walked in and fell in love with the building, which (fittingly) used to be an actual bank. Vestiges of its former self remain, such as a gold mail drop box and antique elevators. And we ended with the most perfectly delicious espresso confection I’ve ever tasted. I kid you not, I dream of it to this day. Oh, and in between? Becoming first-name-basis friends with the handsome front desk staff and bell boys with their ever so impeccable English, yet adorable French accents. They had us at “bonjour.”
