Sausalito has a lot of things going for it — things like houseboats, fog-free views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the beloved Heath Ceramics studio and even a namesake cookie. Add one more thing to that list: proper pajamas.

Birds of Sausalito is a husband-and-wife-run business specializing in underthings for men. And while we appreciate their custom boxers (thankfully devoid of smiley faces, dancing lobsters or any other “festive” patterns), it’s really their pajamas that we’ve got a shine for.
Each set is hand-tailored and made with Peruvian Pima cotton. Details like single needle stitching and mother-of-pearl buttons are dandy, but its the hotel-crisp, cottony feeling that makes the $240 price tag worth it.
Waking up every morning at Cavallo Point might be your ultimate fantasy, but waking up in these pajamas could just be the next best thing.
