Postmodernism Exhibit at The V&A

Postmodernism: You’ve heard of it. Maybe you even have a fondness for its versatility as dinner party vocab word. But what does “postmodernism” mean, exactly? A new exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum offers up a few definitions for this particularly fickle cultural movement. Starting today, stop in for a dose of Rauschenberg, graphics by Peter Saville, and Jeff Koons’ memorable bust of Louis XIV. “Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990” runs through January 15th.
